Leeds Bike Mill was established in 2014 and is a non-profit community interest company run by three mechanics / Directors. Our current areas of work include offering quality recycled bikes, bike maintenance training courses, open volunteer sessions and Dr Bike sessions to local organisations.  There is the scope for our business to expand into other areas.

We welcome interest from people with ideas and enthusiasm to join us in working according to the values, ethics and principles of the co-operative movement, to grow the business and to progress our core social and environmental goals. We would like new members to work with us both at the practical and the strategic levels – contributing to both day-to-day work and to our vision and business planning – to help fulfill the aims of Leeds Bike Mill. We are looking for friendly people with a real interest in cycling and bike maintenance – especially our ethos of sharing knowledge and empowering others – and  low waste, low environmental impact, affordable products and services, who are self-motivated and able to work as part of a team.
