At Leeds Bike Mill we love to see all ages out enjoying themselves on bikes. We could go on all day about how great it is for children and adults alike to experience the fun and freedom of being on two wheels.
That’s why we decided to try out running family bike mechanics courses during the school holidays. We want to invite parents and children to learn together, and gain the skills to keep the whole family’s bikes on the road.
Thanks to funding from the People’s Postcode Lottery we are able to offer the first round of these courses for free!
During the course each pair (adult and child) will work on a child’s bike – performing basic adjustments under the supervision of a qualified mechanic. If you are interested but do not currently have a bike please email us to enquire about the children’s bikes we currently have in stock.
The 4 hours of learning will be split over two days – either as a morning block or an afternoon block. Spaces are limited to 4 pairs (adult and child) in each block so book quickly to avoid disappointment!
The first round of courses will be taking place on the 22nd and 23rd August.
